Feeding Instructions

Opti-Pro Stocker 40 is designed to be fed free choice to stocker cattle in selenium deficient areas to provide the required levels of protein needed to achieve maximum performance under grazing conditions.

Opti-Pro Stocker 40 should be fed at the rate of 0.4 to 0.6 pounds per head per day depending on nutrient profile of the forage. Ensure there is adequate forage available to provide the remaining dry matter intake requirements. Fresh, clean water should be available at all times. Make sure cattle have sufficient salt prior to initiating this feeding program so cattle are not salt deprived. If consumption exceeds 0.75 pounds per head per day mix this product with additional salt to achieve the recommended feeding rate.

All ration changes should be made on a gradual basis. Ask your dealer and/or feed consultant for assistance in planning a feeding program to meet your specific needs.
