- Dairy Elite Calf Starters should be offered to new calves at 3-4 days of age
- When calves are eating 2-3 lbs of Dairy Elite Calf Starter, they may be weaned from milk (around 6 weeks of age)
- A good goal for Dairy Elite Calf Starter consumption would be 50 lbs/calf by 6 weeks and 100 lbs/calf by 8 weeks
- Calves may be switched to Dairy Elite Calf Grower or a 16% protein ration using Dairy Elite Calf Mixer at 8-12 weeks of age
- Offer long-stem hay to the calves when they have been switched to the grower ration
