First Response Stress Mineral
For cattle on pasture.
Feeding Directions
First Response Stress Mineral is designed to be fed to beef and dairy cattle in selenium-deficient areas. It is especially recommended for weaned calves, stressed cattle, or newly received cattle.
First Response Stress Mineral may be fed either free choice or mixed with other feed for the first 21 days. When feeding free choice, a covered mineral feeder is recommended to protect the mineral from the weather. Do not feed additional free choice salt. First Response Stress Mineral contains an adequate level of supplemental salt. Fresh, clean water should be available at all times.
Consumption will vary with the type of ration being fed and the individual appetites of animals. With most feeding conditions, consumption should be 2.5 ounces per head daily. Contact your local CHS nutrition consultant for assistance in planning a feeding program to meet your specific needs.
Contains Xtra-Dry®—a weatherizing agent.
