Sow and Starter Pak is designed to be mixed into Grolean Concentrate, Grolean Premix, and Grolean DDG Premix rations to manufacture Complete Breeder (a 15.5% protein and 0.9% lysine product). Do not feed Sow and Starter Pak undiluted.

Developing Gilts: Feed as the sole ration at a rate of 5 to 6 pounds daily from selection (180 to 220 pounds) to 10 days prior to breeding. Pre-Breeding Sows and Gilts: Feed as the sole ration at a rate of 7 to 9 pounds daily for 10 days prior to breeding.

Gestating Sows and Gilts: Feed as the sole ration at a rate of 4 to 5 pounds daily from breeding until moving to the farrowing facilities(5 days prior to farrowing). The feeding rate can be increased to 6 to 8 pounds daily if needed to maintain body condition.

Lactating Sows and Gilts: Full feed as the sole ration throughout the lactation phase. It is important to bring sows up to full feed as quickly as possible following farrowing.

Developing Boars: Feed as the sole ration at a rate of 5 to 7 pounds daily.

Working Boars: Feed as the sole ration at a rate of 4 to 6 pounds daily. The feeding rate can be increased to 6 to 8 pounds daily if needed to maintain body condition. Contact your local CHS nutrition consultant for assistance in planning a feeding program to meet your specific needs.
