Feeding Directions
Ruf-N-Pro is a roughage and protein containing product designed to be fed to feedlot cattle being finished for market. It is especially formulated to supplement feedlot rations where no forage is being fed and/or for self fed rations.
Ruf-N-Pro should be fed at the rate of 3 to 4 pounds per head daily. For best results in self-fed rations, thoroughly mix 20 percent Ruf-N-Pro with 80 percent grain. Cattle should be gradually adjusted to a high concentrate diet. Other roughage containing CHS nutrition products may be used during the adjustment period.
All ration changes should be made on a gradual basis. Contact your local CHS nutrition consultant for assistance in planning a feeding program to meet your specific needs.
