Ranger 16
For cattle on pasture.
Feeding Directions
Ranger 16 is formulated to provide protein, energy, vitamins and minerals necessary to supplement the nutrients supplied by forage. Forages fed with Ranger 16 should generally be of good quality and offered free choice so that they will adequately supply the remainder of the animal's protein and energy sources.
The following are suggested feeding levels which may be varied according to the quality of forage, condition of the animals and the amount of gain desired.
Type of Animals |
Lb/Hd/Day |
Pregnant Beef Cows and Heifers |
1-3 |
Nursing Cows |
2-4 |
Heifers and Steers on Range |

Free choice salt and fresh, clean water should be provided at all times. The need for supplemental free choice mineral feeding will depend upon the kind and amount of forage being consumed. Contact your local CHS nutrition consultant for assistance in planning a feeding program to meet your specific needs.
