Feeding Directions

Llama Lunch is a source of protein, energy, minerals, trace minerals, and vitamins to supplement roughage for llamas. It can be fed as a creep feed, to weaned youngsters, to lactating females, or to working adults.

 

Feed Llama Lunch along with a free choice source of excellent quality hay or grazing. Feed at a rate of 0.5 to 4.0 pounds daily depending upon activity and body condition. The following are suggested guidelines:


Maintenance

0.5 to 1.0 lbs daily

Growing and Working

1.0 to 3.0 lbs daily

Lactating

2.0 to 4.0 lbs daily

 

Free choice salt and fresh, clean water should be available to llamas at all times.
