Hi-Mag Mineral
For cattle on pasture.
Feeding Directions
Hi-Mag Mineral is designed to be fed to beef and dairy cattle on pasture. It is especially recommended in early spring when lush green grass is consumed and magnesium may be deficient. Magnesium may also be deficient when low quality forage or late fall pastures are the only feed.
Consumption will vary with the type of ration being fed and the individual appetites of animals. With most rations, consumption should approximate 2-4 ounces per head daily. If consumption is excessive, salt may be offered free choice in a separate feeder. If less than desired, remove supplementary salt. Fresh, clean water should be available at all times.
Contact your local CHS nutrition consultant for assistance in planning a feeding program to meet your specific needs.
