Forager 38-16

For cattle on pasture.

Feeding Directions

Forager 38-16 is formulated to provide protein, energy, vitamins and minerals necessary to supplement the nutrients supplied by forage. Forager 38-16 is designed to be used with crop residues, mature range grass or low quality forages. Forages should be offered free choice so that they will adequately supply the remainder of the animal’s protein and energy needs.

Consumption of Forager 38-16 should generally be 1-3 pounds per head per day. If more energy is needed, grain may be fed in addition to Forager 38-16. Free choice salt and fresh, clean water should be available at all times. The need for supplemental free choice mineral feeding will depend upon the kind and amount of forage being consumed. Contact your local CHS nutrition consultant for assistance in planning a feeding program to meet your specific needs.
